Are you keeping pace with Jehovah’s Organization?

image

Charles Taze Russell was chosen by God Jehovah to reveal to mankind the way to salvation in this time of the end. He embarks on a public speaking program that takes him all over the world with him giving lectures in many countries.

Question: Was that Holy Spirit, inspired revelations that he gave ? Was that new light from Jehovah? (Pause and ponder)

When Judge Rutherford took over the presidency of the Watchtower he came out with a lot of different interpretations as regards bible prophecies , a lot of it nullifying what C.T.Russell had taught.

Was Jehovah wrong when he gave this information to C.T. Russell, seeing its been changed now by Rutherford?

When Nathan H. Knorr came on the scene ,he threw a lot of what J.F.Rutherford taught as “old” light.

It goes on, then Freddie Franz relegated Nathan H. Knorrs new light to the waste basket as did the successors to Freddie.

You see the pattern, old light means something was false, new light means you have a new interpretation of what you formally believed was wrong.

So the bottom line is, Bro. Russell was wrong, just as Rutherford was Wrong, Fred Franz was wrong and the present day Governing body are also wrong and they have to issue new light and ask all to keep up to pace with the Organization ( keeping up withGB new interpretation).

New light only appears after history proves old light failed to materialize.

I want Mercy, not Sacrifice

Take a look at this video on YouTube:

There is something seriously wrong about Watchtower’s blood teaching.

fine if GB changed interpretation on generation, identity of FDS but it is morally wrong if their interpretations leads to wanton loss of lives. What a twisted teaching!
Is there any other scriptures that you can think of that put mercy n love above strict adherence to Law? There are many.

Thinking JW moved by Holy Spirit has understand the scriptures correctly.
Yet by speaking out, they have been DF. What injustice! See Bro Rado experience at http://ajwrb.org/experiences/silenced-the-rado-vleugel-story

CO Worship

Comment from a ex-JW known as Magnum. Quite true.

For over thirty years I observed among JWs the phenomenon of CO worship/idolatry. I, myself, was somewhat guilty of it even though I rather quickly caught on and detected something wrong.

Think about the week of the CO visit. During that week most attention is given to and most thought is about the CO. The supposed Sovereign of the Universe takes a backseat. Nobody thinks about him; everybody thinks about how he or she can impress, please, feed, satisfy, cater to, buy coffee for etc. the CO. During the weekdays it’s all about working with him in FS; all attention is on him. Nobody gives a passing thought to Jehovah or Christ.

The CO should really be just a tool or aid in the worship of the Sovereign, but instead, he becomes the focal point once every 6 months. Instead of his being an aid in focusing attention on Jah, he becomes the center of attention. He becomes an idol.

It’s sort of like what happened with the Mosaic Law. It was supposed to be an aid or tool in the worship of God, however, by the time of the Pharisees, it became almost the focus of worship – the center of attention. Their was so much emphasis placed on the Law that many missed the point of it. It, in effect, became an idol.

Not only do JWs worship COs; they worship Bethelites, Bethel itself, and, of course, their main idol, the GB.

Another problem with the CO visit is that it was always the MOST inefficent week or two of the year. Field service was largely a waste of time. We only got a few minutes of actual service in. We didn’t really get started until about 10:00am. And when we did get started, the CO did the pioneer shuffle – walking extremely slowly and talking between doors. Then after maybe slowly working one side of a short street, it was time to head off for a coffee break in the name of wanting to talk ( encourage ) you. Then after the long break at Coffee shop or wherever, it was back to the field for one or two return visits, and then it was time’s up, so the CO could meet others for lunch at noon. Afternoon service was a waste, too. Once, a few years ago, a young brother said something like “man, I don’t get any field service time when the CO is here.”

Freedom, Truth & Love

At some point in life, we have to wake up and take responsibility for each own’s individual gullibility.

That why when we wake up some are so angry, some are mad at the power and deception that be, but most of all, we are mad at ourselves for being so easy.

The information has always been out there, all along, available, a click away for all of us to see. Some friends even tried to tell us, to wake us up. But we are stubborn, we invested too much in this religious scam, it has to be true, and many want this to be true. Let’s face the facts, it is NOT.

Then eventually, it is too much, without wanting to, we find ourselves Awake! So we get mad and wonder how could we ever have believed in all this inconsistent Teachings, even for one sec? At times, we want to kick ourselves for being too easy and gullible. We should have seek Jesus’ warning of being shrewd n cunning as Serpent.

The consolation is that at least we woke up. We could have still be be asleep, going through the motion of meetings and yet not learning any thing new, pledging, donating, watering down the harsh and numbing teachings from the Watchtower and worst of all expecting 99,9% of earth population to be destroyed so only us could be saved?

Life has been Awesome after leaving the WTower. I met some brothers who left or awaken before me. They said the Same Thing! It is Great to be free!

Bread & Wine

Experience From one Ex JW – Darth Fader at JW Forum. Very true, funny and honest.
————————————

Not sure if this bothered other people, but it absolutely drove me CRAZY!!!!

OK, typical annual Memorial. The emblems are being passed around. The number one thing on people’s minds at that moment is “Oh dear gawd, please don’t let me or my child be the one to spill anything!” The number two thing on people’s mind is “I wonder what bat-shit crazy person is here tonight that is going to partake? Is it Brother Never Attends? Could it be Sister Crazy Cat Lady? Maybe it will be young elder, Brother My Poo Don’t Stink?”

So, the emblems get passed all around to those seated. Then the teams of brothers doing the passing go to the ones standing in the back of the hall or in the lobby or wherever. This is when my frustration begins……….. They insist on having each and every human being in the hall touch and hold the plate or wine glass. Not just have the opportunity to reach out and take the emblem if they are so moved. No, THEY HAVE TO ALL HOLD IT MOMENTARILY!!! As if the momentary touching and holding of the plate or wine glass is somehow a “Holy” experience. The 4 year old kid with ADHD gets to hold it. The 90 year old sister with Parkinson’s get to hold it (barely). The father standing in back with the wriggling and writhing bronco toddler has to hold it. The middle-aged sister with enough pharmaceuticals pumping through her system to kill a race horse gets to hold it. EVERYBODY HAS TO HOLD THE EMBLEMS!!!! Making the entire procession longer than it needs to be and for no other reason than pomp and circumstance. Surely, anyone who was actually already decided that they were to partake would have made sure they got the *opportunity* to partake, which is all the Memorial emblems practice is supposed to be, an *opportunity* for the select extremely few.

But then……… if you thought the whole procession could not get anymore weird and ridiculous…….. they take it to an all new level of WEIRDNESS!!!!! Yes, the very same brothers that spent the last 10 minutes passing out the emblems to a few hundred people must then go sit down in their reserved chairs in the front row of the hall and some other brother stands up and offers THEM the emblems to clutch and hold and fondle for absolutely no reason (like some sort of bizarre reverse Musical Chairs game). As if the only way that one who is moved to partake is if they are in a sitting position (or standing in the back because the joint is dangerously overfilled with people who are only there to please their mothers) and having someone else hand them the emblem.

And for the grand finale of weirdness, the brother standing on stage having given the Memorial talk and is mere inches away from the table with the emblems sitting on it must then have one of the brothers come up on stage and ceremoniously hand the emblems to the brother, he holds for two beats (looking down at the emblem with a fake serious look on his face as if he is considering it) and then hands it back to the other brother who then sets the emblems back down on the table immediately adjacent to the podium.

To me this entire charade is as if the JW’s, who claim to be no part of Christendom and religiosity, decided that one night per year we can all be Catholic with the silly procedures, the pious ceremony, the phony traditions. The only thing we are missing is the funny hats and the pot belching out smoke. The whole thing has made me nauseous since I was old enough to understand what the hell was going on.

Instead of focusing (I put that in for you, Focus) on spending time grasping the emotions of Jesus and the sacrifice and all the momentous things that surrounded this that makes the Memorial important to us……….. they turned it into a religious ceremony. Not only that but at this year’s Memorial, the talk was basically devoid of ANY reference to Jesus at all. All we heard was about Jehovah and “the organization”, the “kingdom”. Nothing about Jesus.

Phony. Charade. Joke.

We must remember “So Jesus said again, “I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you cannot have eternal life within you. (‭John‬ ‭6‬:‭53‬ NLT). Truth is simple, not weird.
